Wendels Blogs for MARCH 2009

Wendels Blogs for MARCH 2009Well how time flies !! I have been using my EMG golf buggy now for 3 years and can honestly say it has not let me done once. Apart from a new battery (obviously worn out batteries are out of the buggy manufacturer’s control) and a little wheel alignment due to some of the rugged surfaces it has had to contend with I have had no problems what so ever. I have played with many people who use other brands of battery operated batteries and the EMG buggy is more powerful than other brands on the market. I still often “give it a test run” up hills and even after 3 years of general wear and tear it still races past the other brand buggies. The practical idea of being “all in one” and not having to put bits & pieces together before a game is excellent. For all of us time is precious and who wants to be penalized for being late to the tee just because you had to fiddle and put your buggy together!

A very reliable Australian made product and has helped give me many hours of enjoyment on the golf course.

After 3 years I am still receiving comments of how strong & sturdy it looks as well.

Fern Bay NTP EMG Sponsorship

Fern Bay NTP EMG SponsorshipHi Trish,

The Ladies had a great day on 10th July it was The Fern Bay Open we had 94 players from many different clubs around the district and considering what seemed like gale force winds and tails of balls going in all directions! everyone finished and enjoyed the day.

All the Ladies enjoy the challenge of the N.T.P. on 7th hole and greatly appreciate your sponsorship.

The E.M.G. winners of the N.T.P. on 7th in 3 divisions were K.Bourke from Tuggerah Lakes, J. Bosworth from Newcastle, and S.Garth from Shortland Waters.

Last week Jane McDonald was a very happy E.M.G. winner.

Once again thank you.
regards

Babs.

Muree ladies golf day EMG Golf Buggy sponsored day wrap up

Muree ladies golf day EMG Golf Buggy sponsored day wrap upOn behalf of Muree Ladies Golf I would like to thank EMG and Trish for helping sponsor our Open Day this year.

We had over 80 ladies play and after a rainy week we were blessed with fine skies which enabled all to keep dry and hopefully play good golf.

Trish set up a wonderful display of the EMG Buggies and was kept very busy with potential buyers asking lots of questions and watching demonstrations of all the many extras that the buggies offer.

A great day was had by all and we raised $400 which was given to the Tomaree Breast Support Group to help Ladies suffering from Breast Cancer.

Thank you again EMG Buggies A LOCAL COMPANY HELPING LOCAL SPORT.

Yours in Golf

Muree Ladies Golf Day

On Tuesday 13th May I attended a Ladies Gold Day at Muree. We had a banner with EMG Golf on it and two buggies for display. I set up the buggies and some signage on the tables and around the room ready for when the ladies came in for lunch.
The day was a great success for Muree with a lovely morning after a few days of rain and the downpour waited until after lunch to come down. There were over 80 ladies at the Muree Golf Club which was just fantastic.

I spent a lot of time demonstrating how the buggies work, batteries, umbrella etc and had a lot of the ladies coming up to ask questions and look at them.

Muree Ladies Golf DayA few of the most common comments were the fact that we are a local business so ease of maintenance etc and the fact that the buggy is one piece that folds down, not two or three parts that need to be put together.

I heard a few stories of paying a fortune for new wheels and having to pay for postage to send the buggy interstate and back again for the repair. (Something that won’t happen with EMG!)

The umbrella hand on the side was a winner with lots of people seeing the advantage of that, and being able to leave the umbrella down the side when not needed.

The hospitality of Carol and Co was wonderful and they certainly put on a great show. There was a gold coin donation for the Pink Campaign and we had a special on our leaflets. Any golf buggy sold within three months of the day: we will donate $20.00 to the Muree Golf club for the Pink Campaign.

It was just great for people to be able to look at the EMG Golf buggy and see how it works in a relaxed, casual atmosphere.

This was our second day that we have displayed the EMG Golf Buggy like this. It is something that we look forward to doing on a regular basis. This is a way of giving lots of people the opportunity to come and have a look at an EMG Golf Buggy and get the feel of how it works in a nice personal, casual way.
